Meet our favorite hack for changing a duvet cover: The “Burrito” Method

Okay, we know: inserting a comforter into your new organic duvet cover can occasionally seem a little intimidating. (Because who really has time to shake, wrestle, or climb inside a duvet come laundry day ?) Here’s our top technique for making it quicker and easier—even if you’re changing it on your own.

Step 1:

Turn your duvet cover inside out and lay it flat on the bed with the opening at the foot.

Step 2:

Lay your comforter on top of the duvet cover, ensuring all corners are aligned.

Step 3:

Starting at the head of the bed, roll the duvet cover and comforter together into a “Burrito.”

Step 4:

Once your burrito reaches the foot of the bed, reach inside the opening of the duvet cover, grab the end of the burrito roll, and pull it inside the duvet cover. Repeat this on the other end and in the middle.

Step 5:

Close the duvet cover, flip over the burrito, and unroll it to the head of the bed. Fluff it up, and you’re done!
